Bio
Kilgore emerged from the '90s Heavy scene with their infectious, brooding melodies and powerful rhythmic groove. Best know for the albums Blue Collar Solitude (as Kilgore Smudge) and A Search for Reason, Kilgore not only were on top of the New England scene, but tours with Slayer, Fear Factory, and a spot in the Ozzfest '98 line-up won over the hearts of die-hard metal and hardcore fans all over the world. Kilgore has shared the stage with metal and hardcore's best, playing unforgettable shows with Life of Agony, Clutch, Marilyn Manson, Sick of it All, Biohazard, and on and on. After being away for two decades, Kilgore has thawed from the proverbial ice and is BACK, stronger than ever, and musically picking up right where they left off with original members Jay Berndt (Vocals), Brian McKenzie (Guitar), Bill Southerland (Drums) with Marty O'Brien (Bass). SOMEDAY THIS WAR IS GOING TO END is the first new Kilgore album in 20 years and due for a January 2018 release.
